Uses of Octolip Tablet
Octolip 10mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high cholesterol.
How to use Octolip Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Octolip 10mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Octolip Tablet works
Policosanol belongs to the class of drugs called lipid modifying agents. It acts by decreasing the cholesterol production in liver thereby reducing the bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein or LDL) level in the blood.
Common Abnormal urination during the day, Dizziness, Fatigue, Increased appetite, Nose bleed, Bleeding gums, Stomach upset.

Exercise caution when using concurrently with anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs as it may interact with process of blood clotting.Â
